**********

Properly working vehicles are a necessity, not a luxury. Don't put your life or the life of

others at risk by skimping on vehicle repairs and maintenance. As we are an independent workshop, our prices are up to 50% cheaper than main dealers. So you can still afford to have the servicing and repairs you need.

The state of your vehicles can also put your customers off. Poorly maintained, dirty,

crash damaged or badly working vehicles send a negative message about you and your business.

Well-maintained, clean, efficiently running vehicles give a positive impression of both you and your company.

Come to us and drive down your costs, instead of your business.

Techie Tips

Tip for today:

- If you can't afford to maintain your vehicle so that it isn't a road hazard, then park it up until you can. There's no justification for putting lives at risk in order to save money.

- If your older vehicle works well, is within emissions standards and does not cost you a lot in repair bills - then keep it.

- We offer a 14-day free retest for MOTs.

Past tips:

Think before you take out expensive maintenance contracts with main dealers when purchasing a new vehicle. Utilising your warranty to the fullest and using an independent workshop for non-warranty maintenance and repairs can cut your bills by up to half.

Invest in driver development and training and encourage drivers to treat vehicles as if it were their own property (through some type of   incentive scheme) - an inexperienced or uncaring driver can cost you a lot more in vehicle repairs, down-time and maintenance costs than a simple training scheme will take to run.

Never cut corners on maintenance.

Always try to rectify defects as they occur.

A vehicle that has been well maintained throughout the year, would have a lighter repair bill when the time comes for its MOT. It will also be more likely to pass without any hitches, and you will stand a better chance of avoiding the HGV operator's nightmare - a GV9.
